Father Roderick Vonhögen is a Dutch Catholic priest who publishes podcasts and online videos with over 100,000 followers and millions of views. He is a podcaster, author and new media producer known for his projects that combine Catholicism with commentary on pop culture.

In April of 2005, Father Roderick chronicled the death of then Pope John Paul II and the subsequent election of Pope Benedict XVI on his podcast called The Catholic Insider. He is the author of Geekpriest: Confessions of a New Media Pioneer and produces a variety of content that connects fans of pop culture with the faith and traditions of Catholicism.

Father Roderick is visiting the United States as part of the Star Wars Celebration event in California at the end of May. We’re excited he’s making a stop in Arizona and spending an evening here at Resurrection on Sunday, May 22nd. Join us for the following events:
